Maine Running Company Performances of the Week
For the second time this spring Bethanie Brown of Waterville has had the "Performance of Week". Brown earned the honor based on her state all-time best in the mile 4:51.54 at the Loucks Games last weekend. The record run now gives Bethanie state all time best in the 1600, Mile & 3200 outdoors. The 4:51.54 currently ranks Brown #15 in the country in the event. As of this week she leads the state in the 3200m & 1600m, running the boys state qualifying standard in both events.
The boys "Performance of the Week" also came from the Loucks Games where Telstar junior Josef Holt-Andrews finished 8th but ran a personal best & state leading performance in the 3200m of 9:16.74. Andrews previous best at the event was 9:42 effort from a year ago. Josef is the favorite to win both the mile & 2 mile at the Class C state meet this spring.
Congratulations to both Bethanie & Josef on being selected as the Maine Running Company Performance of the Week
