This fall at MaineTrackXC we will feature "The SB Report". "The SB Report" will feature power rankings of the top 10 girls & boys teams, as well as individuals in the state. The author of the blog Sam Bonsey, has contributed to MaineTrackXC in the past and we are glad we can share his thoughts on the 2012 XC season. Bonsey is a former XC/track runner from Falmouth HS, and is currently a journalism student at the University of Maine. Check out his writing each week this fall.

1. Kirstin Sandreuter Greely
Pre: 1 meet: Home Place: Idle Time: Idle
Sandreuter didn't race on her home course last Friday. She's the heavy favorite to win the WMC Championship this Friday.
2. Shannon Conley South Portland
Pre: 2 Meet: at Scarborough Place: 1st Time: 19:19.26
Conley dominated at Scarborough as she placed first running a time of 19:19.26. Her time was nearly a minute faster than the runner up. South Portland heads to Westbrook on Friday where Conley should win again.
3. Kialeigh Marston Bonny Eagle
Pre: 2 Meet: Home Place: Idle Time: Idle
Marston didn't compete on her home course last Friday. Look for her to contend for the win when Bonny Eagle heads to Windham on Friday.
4. Anne McKee Kents Hill
Pre: 4 Meet: at Kents Hill Place: 1st Time: 20:21
McKee cruised to an easy victory on her home course as her time of 20:21 was over four minutes ahead of the runner up finisher.
5. Mary Szatkowski Bonny Eagle
Pre: 6 Meet: Home Place: 1st Time: 18:35
Szatkowski established a new course record on her home course as she cruised to a fast time of 18:35. Look for her to contend for the win when Bonny Eagle heads to Windham.
