2013-14 Indoor Track Event Previews: 55m Hurdles
Class A
Biddeford's Justin Gagnon had a excellent 2013 season that culminated in a 4th place finish at the state meet. Gagnon ran his best time of the season at the state meet 8.12. He carried over his success to the outdoor 110m hurdles where he placed 2nd.
Elijah Yeboah of Cheverus was on the podium in 5th a year ago, Yeboah ran his fastest time of the year 8.24 at the state meet. He finished 5th in the outdoor 110m hurdles in the spring.
Scarborough's Cameron Langlois was off the podium last winter in 8th, he'll be looking to change that in 2014. Langlois had a best time of 8.26 last year, he went on to finish 6th in the 110m race outdoors.
Gorham's Travis Grant is one to keep an eye on, Grant clocked a 8.19 last winter. Deering Ricardo Delgado has the speed and talent to take the top spot, a year ago he ran 8.15 to win the SMAA title. Don't forgot about Cheverus's Isaac Yeboah who was injured last indoor season, he was on the podium outdoors finishing 7th.

Class B
With only one returning scorer back in 2014, the 55m hurdles is a wide open event in Class B.
Waterville Jordhan Levine finished 5th last year, and is the top returner this winter. Levine ran a personal best 8.34 in the state meet last season. He improved outdoors over the longer distance 110m hurdles where he finished as the state runner-up. He'll enter the season as the favorite to stand atop the podium
Greely's Chance Carr was 8th a season ago, he's primed to make the jump up the ranks this winter. He had a best of 8.48 last year.
Brandon Crcoker of Orono ran a best of 8.45 last winter, he was 6th place in the outdoor Class C meet. He'll look to carry that over to the indoor season this winter.
