Tia Tardy ran the fastest time during the season 62.76, the only girl sub 63. She was also the top 400m runner at the state meet for the class of 2017 running 63.68 to place 5th in the Class B meet.
800m
Westbrook's Danielle Breunig was the only freshman to compete in the 800m at the state meet, she also clocked the fastest time 2:33.29 on the season.

Scarborough's Marissa Carbone ran the best time for freshman in the mile with a 5:39.34 clocking in the Class A state championship to place 9th.
2 Mile
South Portland's Serena McKenzie was the only girl to break 12 minutes this winter, McKenzie clocked her fastest time of 11:58.57, she placed 9th in the Class A state meet. Cecilia Morin of Waterville HS just missed placing in the Class B state meet with a 9th place finish, she ran the second fastest time for freshman on the year, 12:23.37.

Brewer's Gretchen Wright finished 10th in the Class A state meet with a 9.71, she ran a best of 9.44 on the season. Lewiston's Jenny Martin ran a personal best in the Class A state meet of 9.74, she was the second fastest of the class of 2017.

High Jump
Waterville's Katie Lopes jumped her best mark of the season 5-2 to place third in the Class B state meet. South Portland's Callie O'Brien was the other girl that cleared 5-0 this winter, a mark she matched to finish 3rd in the Class A state meet.

Long Jump
Tia Tardy of Mattanawcook Academy was the only freshman to qualify for the state meet, and she had a great jump of 16-10 to finish second in the Class B state meet. She improved on her mark from the state meet to 16-11 1/2 in the the New England Championship to finish an impressive 8th place finish.

Triple Jump
Brooke Sulinski of Old Town & Maddie Amidon of York were the only girls to meet the state qualifying standard. Amidon edged Sulinski in the Class B state meet 31-10 to 31-8 1/4 as each were on the podium in 6th & 7th respectively. Sulinski did have the top jump of the season of 32-2 3/4.
