Dunn wins national title in 1600RW
Spencer Dunn of Edward Little walked a personal best 7:10.44 to win the New Balance Outdoor National title. Dunn who finished third in the Class A championship a week ago was 11 seconds better than the field, the runner-up was Drew York of Gorham who was ahead of Dunn at the state meet. Thornton Academy's Ian Marshall was 4th earning all-american honors, while Gorham's Sean Pratt also earn a podium finish in 6th place.

Gorham's Laura Turner the Class A state runner-up was 13th overall
Incoming freshman Luke Laverdiere of Yarmouth showed he'll be a threat next year as the 8th grader clocked a personal best 4:42.06 for a full mile to finish 3rd in the Middle School Mile
