3. Eric Brobst (Freeport)
Brobst was a huge key to Freeport winning the Class B State title this fall in upset fashion. Eric improved his best time from 18:09 to 17:02 on the season but it was his post season performance that was most impressive in 2014. In 2013, Brobst finished 29th in the Western Maine B Regional, in 2014 he improved 18 spots all the way to 11th. His state meet performance was even better as he improved from 46th all the way to a top ten finish with his 8th place effort in the Class B meet.
