The Orono girls amassed 208 points easily in front of the runner-up John Bapst who scored 78. The Red Riots showed impressive quality and depth, where led by Lauren Stoops who set a new state leading mark in the 300m hurdles (46.74), plus won the 100m (12.78), 200m (26.52) plus ran a leg on a new state leading 4x400m relay.

In the 4x400m the team of Stoops, Kassidy Dill, Rebecca Lopez Anido, & Diana Tyutyunnyk clocked a new PVC record 4:07.41, the mark lowered the teams state leading mark as well.

To open the meet the team of Hannah Steelman, Kassidy Dill, Lily Koffman & Rebecca Lopez Anido set a state lead in the 4x800m relay with a winning effort of 10:00.90

Lopez-Anido had a strong run in the 400m as she cracked the 60 second barrier with a 59.50 winning effort, her time currently ranks her #3 in Class C.

Orono also got a win from Allison Pickering in the pole vault as the junior cleared 8-6.

Mattanawcook's Tia Tardy was voted the outstanding performer of the meet after she won four individual events. Tardy captured the distance sweep as she won the 800m (2:31.67), 1600m (5:35.39) , & 3200 (11:41.33), she added her fourth win in the long jump with a leap of 16-10 3/4

Mavis Taungatu'a of Bucksport won the shot by over 7ft with her 35-7 throw, she also finished as the runner in the discus & javelin. In the discus Tuuli Overturf of Central got the win with a 97-3 effort while in the javelin it was Morgan Dauk of George Stevens who won with a 106-5 toss.

On the boys side Orono was the best team in the field and on the track as they tallied 194 points to outdistance runner-up Foxcroft Academy by 61 points.

The Red Riots were paced by sophomore thrower Jake Koffman who won the three throwing events. Koffman broke the Orono school record and PVC record with a throw of 162-5, the mark ranks him #2 statewide. He added a win in the shot put breaking the fifty foot mark for the first time (50-8 3/4), plus took the javelin with an effort of 150-11.

On the track Tristan Butterfield won the 800m in a speedy 1:59.56, the #2 time in the event statewide. He also ran a leg on the winning 4x800m relay as the Red Riots clocked 8:43.18 and on the winning 4x400m relay team which ran a Class C #2 time of 3:34.80.

Orono got a win in the 100m dash as senior Fredrik Linden won in 11.62.

The outstanding meet performer was Judson Smith of Foxcroft Academy who won four individual events. Smith set the state leading mark in the 300m hurdles with his 40.88 winning effort. He added win in the high jump (6-0), long jump (20-7 1/2), & 110m hurdles (16.29).

Distance runner Matt Toussaint of Fort Kent had a strong day winning the 1600m in 4:31.89 & 3200m 10:14.51 while also placing second in the 800m with a 2:01.36
