4. Paul Casavant/Wyatt Lord
The duo of junior Paul Casavant and freshman Wyatt Lord had a quite a 2015 xc season. At the opening season KVAC meet at Lawrence, they finished 1-2 led by Casavant. They followed that up with another 1-2 finish on their home course at Hampden Academy. The next meet saw the duo go 1-3 at Cony and they repeated that again at the Pendale Invitational. At the KVAC Championship, Casavant led the way in 2nd, with his young teammate Lord not far behind in 5th. In the Northern Maine Regional, Casavant was 2nd again with Lord placing 6th. The duo had another strong effort at the Class A state meet with Casavant finishing as the runner-up and Lord snagging a top 10. The scary thing about this duo is they will be back next year, and most likely the best 1-2 punch in the entire state.
