Former Lewiston High School star Isaiah Harris of Penn State advanced to the final of the NCAA 800m. Harris qualified for the final by finishing second in heat 1 gaining one of the automatic qualifying spots with his 1:46.24.
Isaiah opened the first 400m in 52.95 which placed him in third place, and hit 200m to go in 4th place at 1:19.03. Harris closed the final 200m in 27.22, the second best in the field as he crossed the line in second place.
He will run in the final on Friday at 9:47pm EST
