What are your goals for the upcoming season?
The goals I have for this season honestly is to compete with the top boys and see what the results are.
How did you first get into running?
I started running not too long ago. My sophomore year I only ran outdoor and that was the start of my running career. I also started running because my coaches saw me running in a soccer practice and they said they wanted me, so I started to run.
Will you be competing anywhere out of state this season?
I hope to compete out of state but we will see how the season goes and how things play out.
What is your favorite course to run in Maine & What is the toughest course you've run in Maine? Honestly, Belfast is my favorite course and Twin Brook is my least favorite but they both are really challenging in their own way and I like a challenge.
What has been your favorite cross country race/memory so far in your high school career?
My favorite race was Belfast my junior year (or my first full year of running). I came in 10th in that race and it was just fun.
What do you like to do when you're not running?
When I'm not running I really enjoy hanging out with friends and family.
I really train in three different types of shoes: Nike, Adidas and Saucony... but I race in either Nike or Saucony.
What was your favorite Olympic moment in Rio?
My favorite race was the 10,000m when Mo Farah fell and came back and won the event.
What professional athlete would you most like to meet?
I'd like to meet Mo Farah.
Do you have any pre-race rituals?
Before races I think of the good, the bad, and anything that could happen during the race. Then right when the gun goes off I let my mind go blank and I just run.
