How long have you been running and how did you get started?
I started running through summer track, I was around eight years old.
What has your summer training consisted of?How much mileage you putting in?
My summer training has consisted mostly of regular runs, longs runs and a couple of workouts (hills and 1000s). I have probably hit around 35-40 miles a week so far, but I plan to gradually increase that.
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
Personally I would love to break 16. As for our team I hope to win states.
What is your favorite workout?
Mile repeats for sure.
What did you learn from last xc season that will help you improve in 2018?
After last year's season I learned that anything is possible no matter the circumstance.
What is your favorite course to run in Maine?
Scarborough's home course: Smiling Hill Farm.
Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?
I feel as though my most notable race was this year, in outdoor, when I went sub 4:35 in the 1600. For me that was big mentally.
What do you love most about running?
The satisfaction I feel after running a pr.
When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?
On Wednesday, after school, I repair electrical appliances free of charge.
Do you have any pre-race rituals or routines?
Night before is always pasta, a full nine hours of sleep.

What shoes do you race/train in?
I train in Saucony Ride ISO/Saucony Ride 10's and race in Nike Zoom Forever 5's.
