Salute to Seniors: Seth Leeman

Name: Seth Leeman

School: Lisbon High School

What was your most memorable race/meet?

2019 State Meet at Mt. Blue High School for the 110m Hurdles when I broke my personal record.

Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?

Matthew Chapman, 110m Hurdles.

What was your greatest accomplishment?

Placing at the 2019 MVCs and at the 2019 State Championship.

If you could do it all over again what would you change about your xc/track&field career in high school?

I really wanted to be on the 4x100 relay team and had a great chance of doing that this year before the season was canceled.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

Time management because all of my events were back to back, especially during championship meets.

What will you miss the most?

How the team has respect for one another and how they are there to support one another.

What advice you would give to younger athletes?

Condition before the season!!

What influence has your coach had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?

Coach saw the potential in everybody and pushed everyone to be their best. Honestly, I never wanted to do hurdles but Coach Hall saw something in me and encouraged me to try it out and it became one of my best events!

How do you feel about missing your senior season due to the coronavirus?

I am very disappointed because I truly felt I was going to break all my personal records this season. I was really looking forward to leading the team and being in the inner circle.

What are your college plans?

Husson University and majoring in Occupational Therapy.

Who would you like to say thank you to?

Coach Dean Hall, Coach Hank Fuller, Coach Doug Sautter, my Lisbon teammates, my Family, and Vannessa.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

I want to wish all my cCoaches and teammates the very best in life and to say "Thank You". I will miss you all!  Thank you, Seth Leeman - Lisbon Senior - Class of 2020
