Brunswick's Will Shaughnessy was the top 3200m runner for the class of 2020. Shaughnessy started with a 10:24.56 a freshman, progressed to 9:53.68 as a sophomore before hitting a personal best of 9:32.80 last spring.

Griffin Allaire of Wells had a strong progression as well going from 10:41.27 down to 9:51.08 over his three seasons, he was the Class C state champion a year ago.
