Catching Up With Isaiah Harris

Maine Milesplit catches up with 800 meter star Isaiah Harris. Harris, a Lewiston native, became the first Maine high schooler to break 1:50 in the 800. Harris went on to have a spectacular career at Penn State, winning the 800 at the 2018 NCAA outdoor championships before forgoing his final year to turn pro. Harris qualified for the 2017 World Championships. In our interview, we discuss Harris' drive to stay sharp and ready during the pandemic, why he chose to go to Penn State, his 200, 800, 1600 triple at the 2015 Class A state championships, and much more.
