Greely came into the 2022 Class B state championship meet as a slight favorite over Cony. The Rangers only had seven athletes competing in the meet, but while they might not have had quantity they certainly made up for in quality. The Rangers held off a strong challenge from York to win the team title 70-67.

Leading the way for the Rangers was junior Elle Jowett who won three individual events for thirty points. Jowett lead a 1-2 in the 55m dash as she clocked 7.63, teammate Abigail Jacobson was next in 7.72. The duo came back to repeat the 1-2 finish in the 200m with Jowett winning in 27.18 and Jacobson the runner-up in 27.45. Elle also added a win in the 400m with a 62.70 effort, her margin of victory was over a second.
