Catching Up: Maine All-New England Interviews


Maine had a strong day at the New England Championship meet as they had eight boys earn All-New England honors, while on the girls side there was seven girls who made the podium including 1000m champion Mia-Claire Kezal of Thornton Academy


Megan Randall of Bangor placed fifth in the 2 mile.



Jayden Flaker of Scarborough broke the state record in the 55m hurdles finishing as the runner-up


Makeena Drouin of Edward Little said "Don't give up on yourself" as she finished as the 55m runner-up



Anna Connors of Bangor was on the podium twice - she broke the state record in the 300m finishing second.



Andrew Farr & Abdirizak Abukar earned All-New England honors in the 300m finishing second and fourth respectively.



Zachary Barry broke the 1000m state record with his third place finish



Mia-Claire Kezal won the 1000m title and broke the state record in the process.


Caroline Fallona placed sixth in the 55m dash.


Cary Drake was the mile runner-up in a close race decided by .003 seconds!



Matt Charpentier mixed it up some of the best throwers in the country placing sixth in the shot put.


Grady Satterfield clocked the fourth fastest 2 mile in state history with his sixth place finish.
