Defending Class A 400m champion Andrew Farr of Gorham open his season with a state leading 49.73 over 400m at Noble last Thursday. Farr's time is the fastest in the state this spring, and is the only athlete to break 50 seconds so far in 2022. Andrew also won the 100m in 11.11, and the 200m in 22.63 during the meet. A year ago he clocked 49.15 to win the Class A state meet in the 400m, and won the indoor Class A title in 49.54.
