Edward Little junior Makenna Drouin has started her 2022-23 season off in blazing fashion. The 2022 Class A 55m hurdle runner-up clocked a personal 8.61 on Monday night at USM. On Friday at Bowdoin College Drouin once again dominated the hurdle lowering her state leading time to 8.58. The time is the third fastest ever run in December in state history. Her time now ranks 12th best on the Maine All-time indoor 55 hurdle list.
Makenna currently holds the fastest 55m (7.26) and 200m (26.41) times in the state early on in the 2022-23 season.
