829 girls are entered to compete on Saturday at the 21st Maine XC Festival of Champions so there will be plenty of action across the three different girls' races. We took a look at the girl's seeded race highlighting the top Maine competitors, as well as some of the top out-of-state talent. Competing in the meet is every runner ranked in our most recent individual statewide rankings as well as the top seven in each class. Two-time defending champion, and meet and course record holder Ruth White is back looking to win for the third time, and possibly take the record down to under 17 minutes!
