This weekend the focus was on the 800m and chasing the 1:52.85 record in 2022 by Zachary Barry. The pace was fast from the beginning as the first 200m was covered in 26.50, and 400m was 54.28. On the third lap, Jordan got boxed and had trouble getting out of it as he came through 600m in 1:23.61. As he has done all year long Maddox used a powerful kick to move to the front on the backstretch, and powered his way to the section win with a 1:51.82 effort, closing the last 200m in 28.21. The mark as of writing is a new United States number one performance and the second fastest time indoors/outdoors in Maine history.

In the women's mile York's Cary Drake set a new personal best with a 4:57.61 effort. The time improved Drake to fourth best in history and puts her at the top of the Maine mile list this indoor season.
