Bergmark made a huge leap last fall, improving his state meet finish by 33 places as he elevated his racing to a new level. He carried that progress into the spring, placing in the 1600m at the Class A state meet and setting a personal best in the 3200m. Now entering his junior year, he looks ready for another step forward and should be in the mix with the top runners in Class A this fall.
