Elliott put together a stellar championship stretch last fall, winning both the KVAC Championship and the Northern Regional before running a strong 18:54 at the state meet to earn runner-up honors. She carried that momentum onto the track, posting personal bests from the 800m through the 2-mile during the indoor season, though illness at states kept her from her usual form. Outdoors, she continued to shine, setting new PRs and placing fourth in the 1600m and second in the 800m. Now a rising junior, Elliott is poised to challenge for the Class A title this fall and establish herself as one of the state's top distance runners.
