Now that we are about halfway into the 2025 XC season, we looked at those who have improved the most this fall compared to their 2024 5K XC best. Jackson McBride of Winthrop tops the list with a 10:35 improvement over his best from a year ago. He has gone from a 32-minute 5k runner down to a sub 22-minute runner. Forty-three boys have improved over 2 minutes so far this fall, while 124 boys have lopped over one minute of their best time from a year ago.
