Falmouth's Ali Carter leads all returners in Maine for the upcoming indoor season after clocking a swift 6.51 in the 55m dash last winter. Carter, who placed third in the Class A state championship, enters the season as the statewide favorite.

In Class B, Winslow senior Hassan Hobbi returns as the top sprinter after his 6.74 runner-up performance at last year's state meet.
