Abbey Leonardi set another state All-Time best in the 1600m, eclipsing her previous record time of 4:54.14 which was set at the New England championships last spring, with a 4:52.9. Abbey went through the 400m in 71, covered her next 400m in 74 for a 2:25 half mile split, the pace slowed slightly in the 3rd quarter, 76 for a 3:41 at th bell, with plenty left in the tank Abbey clicked off just under 72 for the final lap. This is Leonardi's 2nd all-time best time this season. Her time ranks her 18th nationally, and qualifies her for the New Balance Outdoor nationals.
