Meet A Girls  (19 state qualifiers)

Kayla Brooks (OT) defeats the state leader Maddie Page (Hermon) 7.74 to 7.86. Brooks's time is a new state leader 

Grace Maclean (Bangor) hurdles her way to a win in 9.10 & then adds a state leader in the long jump 15-9 1/4 & another in the high jump 5-2

Freshman Aleta Looker (Ellsworth) rolls to a new state leader in the 800m 2:32.45

Vaulter Shelby Wheeler (Orono) equals the state lead in the pole vault clearing 9-6, mark is the tops in Class B

Freshman Tia Jackson (Old Town) takes the triple jump 32-3 3/4


Meet A Boys (17 State Qualifiers)

On fire was Jake Leithiser (Old Town) as he torches the 55m hurdles prelim in 7.97 for a new state leader, then he cruised in the hurdles final 8.10. He didn't disappoint as he jumped his way to a new state leader in the high jump, clearing 6-4, adding 1" to his previous leader. Leithiser finished his day off with his 3rd state leader of the season, clocking 52.65.

Freshman distance standout Dan Curts (Ellsworth) leads 3 under the state qualifying mark, winning in 2:08.52



Meet B Girls (18 State Qualifiers)

Teal Jackson (Brewer) lowers her state leading time in the 400m to 61.99 the sprints her way to a 27.35 lowering her previous state leader by .12

Michelle Haluska (Brewer) leads 4 under the state qualifying mark winning the Mile in 5:40.66

Brewer's Cassie Braithwaite hops ,skips & jumps out to 32-7 to take the triple jump


Meet A Boys (12 State Qualifiers)

Hurdler Tristan Wortman (Brewer) clocked a new Class A leader in the prelims 8.32 then adds a strong vault win 12-0

Evan Piccirillo (Hampden Academy) rolls to a easy win the 800m 2:06.02

Stuart Lenz (John Bapst) adds a sprint double 55m (7.03) & 200m (24.52)
