Abbey Leonardi (Kennebunk pictured left photo by Patrick Bendzick) repeated as 3200m, this time in record breaking fashion as she shattered the meet record by 5+ seconds with an All-time Maine best 10:19.09. Leonardi previously held the All-time Maine best at 10:26.48 which she set in winning the NE championship last spring.

Other Strong Performances
Emilia Scheemaker (Scarborough High School) 36-0.25 for 8th in the triple jump
Lindsay Folsom (Cony High School) finished 8th in vault, but had a great day setting a new state leader with her 10-9 clearance.
Emily Tolman (Scarborough High School) easily won her heat in the 400m, she ran a personal best 57.96 to finish 8th. Emily joins an elite group of Maine girls to have been under 58 in the 400m.
Matt McClintock (Madison Memorial High School) set a new personal best & state leader in the 3200m with his runner-up finish in section 1, clocking 9:30.0 to finish 13th
Jack Fellows (Greely High School) joined his teammate in the shot put final throwing 52-2.25 which gave him 7th place one spot away from the podium, still a great effort considering the wet conditions.
Harlow Ladd (Messalonskee High School) won section 1 with a strong kick over the last 200m, good for a seasonal best 4:24.62 for 1600m
Abby Mace (Maranacook Community High School) nailed down two seasonal bests, first in the 1600m 5:13.32 (15th) & then in the 3200m 11:15.12. A good end to the season for Mace who battled injury early on in the season & didn't know if she would be able to compete this spring.
Erzsebet Nagy (Lawrence High School) finished 13th in the 1600m with a 5:10.66
Sarah Perkins (Gorham High School) won section 3 of the 300m Hurdles in 46.29 to finish 8th overall
Shelby Strickland (Kennebunk High School)excelled despite tough jumping conditions clearing 5-3 a personal best which placed her 7th just off the podium
Bonny Eagle High School girls 4x400m ended the meet with a new state leader with a 4:04.95, led by anchor leg Peyton Dostie's 58 split.
