From the 2006 Class A State XC champion, to athletic scholarship at the Univeristy of New Hampshire, to school record holder in the 5k & 10k 2 UNH, to Olympic Trials Marathon qualifier, it has been a successful road for the former Scarborough High School standout Erica Jesseman. Jesseman has experienced success at every step along the way & it doesn't appear to be stopping now that she is out of school.

 

Recently Jesseman competed in  the ING Hartford Marathon on Oct 15th, her first effort at the 26.2 mile distance with great success. Not only did she win the race, her time of 2:45.00 met the Olympic "B" standard for the Olympic Trials. Erica will travel to Houston, TX in January to compete in the OT marathon with the top 3 earning a spot in the Olympics. Currently Erica is the assistant XC Coach at St. Joe's college.
