New England D3 Championship  results

USM's Hannah Wiley had a huge day winning the 400m hurdles in 61.17, to break her own school record, and moved to the #2 performance in the country. Wiley also added a runner-up finish in the long jump 18-8 which ranks her 15th in the country. Hannah also added a 3rd in the triple jump 37-10 3/4 which has her ranked 25th in D3.

Colby's Dominic Kone dominated the field in the 100m dash to easily win the D3 title in 10.71, Kone is currently ranked 3rd in D3 in the event. Kone almost claimed the double win as he narrowly finish 2nd in the 200m clocking 21.73 which has him 21st fastest in the country

Other strong marks from former Maine runners was the runner-up finish of Molly Carl of USM in the 3k steeplechase. Carl set a huge personal best to smash her own school record with her 10:48.8, which moved her to #10 in the country. Carl was just .80 out of the top spot. Also earning a runner-up finish was Williams's Chris Fogler in the Decathlon as he posted a 10 event score of 6067 which has him ranked 20th in D3

in the 200m Bates Isiah Spofford was 5th 22.43, in the 400m Brittany Bell of Colby finished 4th 58.20, in the 400m hurdles Sam Chick of Bowdoin placed 5th 54.78, in the 800m Bates James LePage ran strong for 6th 1:52.72 a mark that has him ranked 19th in the country, in the 1500m Tim Even of Southern Maine ran a new school record and had a huge personal best 3:53.17 to finish 5th, Even ranks 19th in D3. Also in the 3k steeplechase Anna Ackerman (Bowdoin) placed 4th 10:55.1 while Vicky Hewey of WPI was 5th 11:03.58, the marks rank 14th & 20th respectively in D3. In the 5k Olivia MacKenzie of Bowdoin placed 5th 18:00.76, while Morgan Beede of USM was 6th 18:01.63 on the boys side of the action in the 5k Bowdoin's Samuel Seekins running a strong 5th 14:44.51. In the men's 10k Wade Davis of Williams was 5th 31:26.14 he was followed in 5th by Chris Kibler of Fitchburg State 31:30.28. In the high jump Ryan Storey of USM tied for 8th 6-2. Sticking with the jumps USM'S Bethany Dumas was 7th in the vault 10-8, while on the men's side Brad Nakanishi of Tufts finished a strong 3rd 15-5. In the long jump Christina Massey of USM added a 6th 17-2 3/4, while in the hammer Katherine Harmon of Bowdoin finished 7th 147-06, then Hannah Werneth of Worcester St placed 6th in the shot put 38-9 3/4. Bates David Haridson completed the 10 events to finish 4th in decathlon with a score of 5880
