Lisbon sweeps MVC titles for the 7th year in a row

 

The Lisbon girls tallied an impressive 181 points to finish 115 points in front of runner-up Madison. The Greyhounds were led by  three wins from Kayla Angelico (Javelin, 300m Hurdles & PV),  & two more wins from thrower Briana Moore (SP/Discus). They also got firsts rom Angelica Bulgin (800m),  Kailtin Doustou (HJ), & Lindsey Whitney (Racewalk), and the 4x400 & 4x800 squads crossed the line ahead of the competition as well. Lisbon scored 100 points from first place finishes showing top quality athletes that know how to win

 

Hall-Dale standout sprinter Bri Crisci lived up to her pre-meet billing, as she won all 3 sprints race 100m, 200m & 400m. In the 200m race Crisci lowered her class c leader under 27 seconds with a personal best 26.91. Bri now holds class c leading marks in all 3 sprint disciplines.  Mt Abram's distane ace Sadie James was the top finisher in both the 1600m & 3200m

 

On the boys side Lisbon was led by Morgan Reeves who claimed wins in the pole vault, triple jump & long jump,  they also got wins from Kyle Sheehan (300m Hurdles), Tyler Bard (RW) & the 4x400 relay.

Senior distance standout Matt McClintock of Madison set a pair of MVC records en route to a pair of state leading performances in the 1600m (4:21.24) & 3200m (9:18.58). Both marks for Matt also broke Madison school records. In the sprints Tyler Fitzgerald (Hall-Dale) scored wins the 100m & 400m, while earning a runner-up spot in the 200m
