Aleta Looker (Ellsworth) & Maggie Painter (MDI) had a good old fashion duel as the two harriers shattered the course record held by Looker (19:29). Painter deserves a lot of credit though as she set the fast pace, and had to stay at the front, as Looker played the hunter. With a mile to go Aleta took over and continued to push the pace. Looker would retain her course record but it took a big effort to get it done. She won the duel 19:06.34 to 19:07.78 for Painter, good for a 23 second course record.

Running her best race of the year Waylon Henggeler of MDI finished 3rd (19:36), she was followed by her teammate Olivia Erickson in 4th. John Bapst's Adrienne Carmack had a strong for 5th, while Isabel Erickson (MDI) was 6th. Next came the Larrabee sisters of Caribou, Robyn (7th) & Nerissa (8th). MDI rounded out its scoring 5 with Caroline Driscoll's 9th place finish. Chelsea Bard of Caribou finished 10th.
