• Sr 200 Meter Dash - Audrey Weyand of Bonny Eagle High School blazed a 27.24 for the win, which is a new season best and next was Stephanie Sylvester of Deering High School (28.24)

 

• Jr 400 Meter Dash - Impressive top speed helped Brittney Arsenault of Westbrook High School win in 1:03.76 and next was Jenessa Corbett of Westbrook High School (1:06.94), Katie Farrell of Deering High School (1:07.24)

• Sr 55 Meter Hurdles - Nailed it! Rashad Zagon of Deering High School wins in 9.89, trailed by Gaelyn Lindauer of Bonny Eagle High School and her 10.10

• Sr 800 Meter Run - Edie Pallozzi of Deering High School held strong for a winning time of 2:21.10, holding off a challenge form the 2:23.67 by Samantha Cox of Bonny Eagle High School, next was Kyaunna Libby of Bonny Eagle High School (2:27.31), Jackie Turner of Gorham High School (2:33.94), Alexandra Vayda of Bonny Eagle High School (2:35.15), Kristen Glennie of Bonny Eagle High School (2:37.00), Mary Szatkowski of Bonny Eagle High School (2:37.41)

• Sr 400 Meter Dash - Austin Bell of Gorham High School smoked a 54.36 to win, a new SB, followed by James Patchell of Bonny Eagle High School in 54.76

 

• Sr 55 Meter Hurdles - Tyson Goodale of Bonny Eagle High School cleared 'em clean in 8.14 for the gold (his best of the year), followed by Travis Grant of Gorham High School in 8.30, Billy Farrell of Deering High School (8.60), Jake Ledue of Westbrook High School (8.64)

 

• Sr 55 Meter Dash - Julian Nijkamp of Gorham High School smoked a 7.05 to win, a new SB

 

• Sr 800 Meter Run - Jon Gray of Gorham High School hustled to a 2:08.42 win, which is a new season best

 

• Sr High Jump - Billy Farrell of Deering High School cleared a 5-8 to win, which is his best jump of the season

 

• Pole Vault - Jordan Trafford of Bonny Eagle High School got over 11-9 in his victory

 

• Sr Shot Put - Jared Bell of Deering High School launched it 54-7 to earn the top spot on the podium

 

• Sr Triple Jump - Tyson Goodale of Bonny Eagle High School hit the sand at 40-8.75 to win, followed by: Billy Farrell of Deering High School (40-7.5), Travis Grant of Gorham High School (39-8.5)

Meet Results

Nyajock Pan of South Portland won the Mile 5:29.10 in a close race over Kiera Murray of Cheverus 5:29.39, she came back to take the 800m 2:34.95. Tori Daigle of TA won the Jr 200m (28.45) & jr long jump 15-6. SP's Lauren Magnuson took the Jr 55m 7.81 then added a win in the Jr 400m 65.97.

Biddeford's James Ociti won the Sr 55m 6.86, and then added a fast 23.54 in the Sr 200m. Cheverus's James Campbell ran 51.70 in the 400m, the mark in a Class A #2 mark, his teammate Brady Foshay clocked 51.83 Class A #3. Justin Gagnon of Biddeford won the Jr Hurdles 8.29, then added a win in the jr triple jump 38-7. David LePauloue of TA set a new personal best in the shot put with a State #2 heave of 49-8. The Cheverus Sr 4x200m relay broke the SMAA record with a 1:35.13, the mark is also a state #1

• Sr 200 Meter Dash - Impressive top speed helped Anne Slattery of Cheverus High School win in 28.04 with Meredith Willard of Cheverus High School in her shadow at 28.52,

 

• Jr 200 Meter Dash- Tori Daigle of Thornton Academy blazed a 28.45 for the win, trailed by Meagan Johnson of South Portland High School and her 28.81, Anna Mehlinger of Thornton Academy (28.83)

 

• Sr 400 Meter Dash - Impressive top speed helped Erin Bogdanovich of South Portland High School win in 1:05.36

 

• Jr 400 Meter Dash - Impressive top speed helped Lauren Magnuson of South Portland High School win in 1:05.97, followed by Janey Blackwell-orr of South Portland High School in 1:07.09

• Sr Long Jump- Amanda Arnold of Thornton Academy jumped a 16-2 in her win, followed by Carly McKenna of Thornton Academy (16-0.5), next was Clara Ellis of South Portland High School (15-5)

• Sr 55 Meter Dash - Impressive top speed helped James Ociti of Biddeford High School win in 6.86, next was the 6.95 by Jackson Mcmann of Cheverus High School. After that was Tsz Tai Yuen of Thornton Academy at 7.02

Meet Results

Sarah Rinaldi of Scarborough cleared a personal best 5-2 to hold off a strong challenge from Ali Wintle of Windham who also cleared 5-2. The mark is a Class A #2 jump. Massabesic's Jocelyn Acheson took the mile 5:34.10 & then came back to take the 800m 2:33.38. Scarborough's Katherine Kirk won the Jr 200m (28.53) & Jr 400m (64.47). Scarborough's Sr 4x200m clocked a Class A leader with a 1:53.03.

Ethan Beaulier of Noble ran Class A #3 in the 200m 23.53, and added a win in the 55m 6.80. Robby Hall of Scarborough added a Class A leader in the 2 mile 9:50.05. Noble's Cam Johnson won 3 events, Jr 55m (7.02), Jr 400m (54.36) & Jr 200m (24.52). If not for a timing malfunction Scarborough's Sr 4x200m relay would have shattered the SMAA record and lowered the state leading mark to a 1:34.2 (HT)

 

Girls Highlights

• Sr 200 Meter Dash - Avery Pietras of Scarborough High School smoked a 27.70 to win, a new SB with Morgan Rodway of Scarborough High School on her heels in 27.98. After that was Jessica Meader of Scarborough High School at 28.25, Morgan Richmond of Windham High School (28.47), Sam Libby of Catherine McAuley High School (28.75)

 

• Jr 200 Meter Dash- Katherine Kirk of Scarborough High School blazed a 28.53 for the win

 

• Jr 400 Meter Dash - Katherine Kirk of Scarborough High School blazed a 1:04.47 for the win, just over Aly Atherton of Scarborough High School 1:06.02.

 

• Sr 400 Meter Dash- Nicole Lanoie of Noble High School drove to a 1:05.14 to win, trailed by Karli-an Gilbert of Scarborough High School and her 1:05.72, They were followed by Lauren Shoemaker of Windham High School (1:06.34), Kayla Thompson of Noble High School (1:06.37), Mia Lewis of Noble High School (1:06.71), Rayne Whitten of Massabesic High School (1:07.33)

• Sr 55 Meter Dash - Morgan Rodway of Scarborough High School sprinted 7.78 for the victory with Avery Pietras of Scarborough High School on her heels in 7.82. Next was Morgan Richmond of Windham High School in 7.95
