WMC Highlights-Barnes breaks pole vault again

Kate Hall of Lake Region won 3 events again as she took the 55m (7.44), 200m (26.46) & Long Jump (16-9 1/4). Greely's Kirstin Sandreuter had wins in the mile (5:26.98) & 2 mile (11:22.75, the two mile mark is a Class B #2. Emma Egan of Yarmouth had a pair of wins Jr HJ(4-8) & Jr 400m (64.85). Jess Wilson of Greely ran 2:28.57 in the 800m for a Class B #3 mark.

York's Thomas Reid was a triple winner as he took victories in the 55m Hurdles (8.42), then added wins in the long jump (19-6 1/4) & triple jump (39-9 1/2). Yarmouth's Ben Decker own the mile in personal best time of 4:31.21, the mark is state #3 and Class B #2, in the same race Cape's Liam Simspon clocked Class B #3 4:34.74. Greely's James Ferrar threw Class B #2 distance of 46-3 1/2

• Sr 200 Meter Dash - Kate Hall of Lake Region High School drove to a 26.47 to win with Brennah Martin of Greely High School in tow at 28.73

 

• Jr 200 Meter Dash- Hannah Keisman of Greely High School took it home in 28.61

 

• Two Mile Run - Kirstin Sandreuter of Greely High School hustled to a 11:22.75 win, which is a new season best

 

• Sr 400 Meter Dash - Julia Mitiguy of Greely High School smoked a 1:04.43 to win, a new SB and next was Erin Lyons of Cape Elizabeth High School (1:06.48), followed by  Carlie Martin of York High School (1:06.85)

 

• Jr 400 Meter Dash - Emma Egan of Yarmouth High School sprinted 1:04.85 for the victory, trailed by Jocelyn Mitiguy of Greely High School and her 1:05.80, Charlotte Reilly of York High School (1:06.70) was 3rd.

 

• Jr 55 Meter Hurdles - Jocelyn Mitiguy of Greely High School sailed past the barries for a 9.83 win

 

• Sr 55 Meter Hurdles- Kaley Sawyer of Greely High School cleared 'em clean in 9.97 for the gold (her best of the year), just over Allie Swaney of Greely High School 9.99

 

• Sr 55 Meter Dash - Kate Hall of Lake Region High School sprinted 7.44 for the victory

 

• Jr 55 Meter Dash - Alie Jones of York High School took it home in 7.96 (her best of the year)

 

• 800 Meter Run - Jessica Wilson of Greely High School got it done, winning in 2:28.57, a new SB, trailed by Heather Evans of York High School and her 2:34.40

 

• Jr High Jump - With the bar at 4-8, Emma Egan of Yarmouth High School gets the gold

 

• Sr High Jump - Kaley Sawyer of Greely High School sailed over 4-8 for the win (best clearance this year)

 

• Long Jump - Hitting a big 16-9.25 jump, Kate Hall of Lake Region High School wins, followed by: Sarah Ingraham of Greely High School (15-8.75), Sandra Ricardi of Gray New Gloucester High School (15-2.5)

• Sr 200 Meter Dash - Josh Brooks of York High School took it home in 24.39 (his best of the year) with Harrison Stivers of Freeport High School in his shadow at 24.44. They were followed by Joe Vogel of York High School (24.51), Jacob Isaacson of Greely High School (24.53), Travis Hamre of Yarmouth High School (24.94)

 

• Two Mile Run - Kyle Kennedy of Cape Elizabeth High School earned a 10:35.64 win

 

• 4x200 Meter Relay - York High School 1:38.16

 

• Sr 55 Meter Hurdles - Thomas Reid of York High School earned gold in 8.42 and next was Chance Carr of Greely High School (8.83), Ben Giffard of Greely High School (8.90)
