Your statement, "Brown becomes the first Maine athlete to win 2 New England titles in the same meet" is untrue. Becky O'Brien won both the discus and shot put in 2008.

Brown is not the first Maine athlete to win 2 New England titles in the same meet. Labreck won the 100 Hurdles and 300 Hurdles in 2008, while Becky O'Brien won the Shot Put and the Discus in the same meet.

Read what Derek wrote before you attempt to correct him: he specifically said "in the distance races". Derek, thanks for all your updates over the years, much appreciated for the meets I could not make.

When I was editing the article originally I meant to put in the distance races but didn't. I have since edited the article to reflect that. Sorry for not being accurate the first time.

I believe Mr. Prescott commented for the purpose of correcting me, not Derek. Although it wasn't my statement, I don't think Mr. Prescott could resist an opportunity to make himself look smart. Good for you, Kurt. Good for you.

I was correcting the typo in the article. I'm not quite sure what RunKidRun9 is referring to?

Ah, I didn't see the author credit at the end of the article. I wasn't try to look smart or make anyone else look bad...just trying to get the stats right.
