This is a highlight video featuring the Mt. Ararat athletes but I thought I'd share it on a bigger site because there are many athletes in the shots that might be interested. I will send a few more in the next day featuring the girls 4x800 relay record and the battle for the boys 1600m. Check back!
Bethanie Brown ran under 5 minutes for 1600m, while Mohammed Barre of Lewiston scored a win over indoor Mile champion Harlow Ladd. Both Waterville teams were victorious in the relay meet, check out more action from the meet.
WATERVILLE -- Myrilla Hartkopf, Jilli McAllister, Marissa Paquette and Erzsie Nagy had never before run a relay together. They did Thursday morning and, in the process, the Lawrence High School quartet shattered a four-year meet record at the eighth annual David Whyte Memorial Relays. Bethanie Brown of Waterville blisters the track in the second heat of the 1600m with a 4:59.03! . Leavitt's Juli Vishe and Mt. Ararat's Brennie Radulski ran in the first heat and finished second and fifth respectively overall.
