Coachs Information Packet
What:
Come join us for a fast and fun early-season invitational. Get a chance to see how your team and individuals are doing on a flat course in southern Maine. We will be using the Finishlynx timing system and be providing an exciting big-meet atmosphere in which to compete early in the XC season.
Where:
XC Course @ Narragansett School, 284 Main Street, Gorham, ME 04038
When:
Saturday, September 8th (time schedule listed on other side)
Who:
High school, middle school, kids and adults
How:
The cost is $100 per coed team or $10 per individual - whichever is less (kids run is free). Checks are to be made payable to Gorham High School w/ memo Southern Maine Classic XC race.
Pre-registration for all high school runners should be by e-mail to the meet and/or site director no later than Tuesday, August 28th. Please indicate in the e-mail an approximate number of athletes who will compete in the race. A Google Sheet will be shared with coaches reflecting who has pre-registered.
Entries will be submitted using Team Manager on Hytek to Dave Jeffrey at djeffrey@breweredu.org by Monday, September 3rd. You MUST include in your electronic entries name, grade, gender, and your best estimate for a 5k seed time for each athlete. The times will be used to determine the seeded races.

High School Freshman / Sophomore Boys @ 10:00am (cap at 250 total)
High School Freshman / Sophomore Girls @ 10:45am (cap at 250 total)
High School Junior / Senior Boys @ 11:30am (cap at 250 total)
High School Junior / Senior Girls @ 12:05pm (cap at 250 total)
** High School Unseeded Girls will be raced if numbers permit at the end of the racing schedule
** High School Unseeded Boys will be raced if numbers permit at the end of the racing schedule

* Kid and adult run sign-ups will be done between 8-8:30am at finish-line
* High School Coachs meeting will be held at 9:30am at finish-line
* Spikes can be worn on the course and a trainer will be on site
* Buses drop off at Narragansett Elementary entrance on Route 25
