Reminder: No team permitted to use/practice course 7 days prior to race. Course inspection may occur on the
Friday before race day and Saturday.
Spectators- No Dogs permitted at facility. Satellite parking (MiddleSchool 351 TuttleRd) -shuttled to course.
Drop-off: Bus may drop off team at first loop of TwinBrook facility. Bus will leave facility and
park at Greely Rd TwinBrook facility lot (168 Greely Rd 04021)/overflow- MS- 351 Tuttle Rd.
Pick-up: Coach should call bus driver to return first loop when team is ready to depart facility.
Please dont re-enter if team is not ready to load and depart.
Athletic Trainer will be on site- please bring school wrap/tape for your athletes.

Teams should prepare to support their runners at the end of each race **
Packets: Check-in & Packets will be at table by Finish Area (1 Front # + 2 Hip #) -9:00AM
Results: Posted on Shelter Building (approx 10-15mins) before start of Awards
Awards: The awards ceremonies will take place at the conclusion of the boys' race in each class
(Field above Red Shelter Building). Regional Championship plaques and medals will be presented
to the 1st and 2nd place teams. Top 30 announced & recognized. Medals will be presented to the top
10 finishers in each class.
Qualifications for the State Meet: Team - Half of the full teams (minimum 5) that start the race will
qualify for the State Meet. Individuals-The top 30 in each class will qualify for the State Meet.
Qualifying Individuals & Teams are expected to compete. If a school does not intend to participate, they
must notify the Cross Country Committee Chair by Monday Oct 22. Failure to notify the XC Committee
Chair of non-participation by the school will result in a two year ban from Regionals.
Race Day Declaring Runners & Scratches-
Coaches need to declare their 7 runners.
Check in with clerks & indicate runners name and number from sheet.
Clerk with communicate with the Finishlynx crew-they will scratch the runners not running, out of the race.
When your team is called to the line, the clerks will know which 7 runners are running.
*Coaches can make changes right up to the start of the race as long as the change is communicated by the clerks to the Finishlynx crew. That way when a
race starts, we know every runner who is in the race. *
** Spectator Parking shuttled to park from school area 351 Tuttle Rd or 168 Greely Rd entrance **
1) Bathrooms are available for all athletes. Shelter building or Porta-stations.
2) Buses should drop off athletes and park per instructions of parking guide at schools or on Greely Rd side of
3) Races will be run according to the time schedule. Teams are expected to be at the starting line 15 minutes
before the scheduled start time. There will be a Coaches/ Captains (1 per team) meeting at the finish line
25 minutes before the start of the girls race. All teams must be represented.
4) Teams may inspect the course upon arrival as long as they don't interfere with races in progress. Please be
careful not to impede a race in progress.
5) There will be concessions available on site provided by the Cumberland Lions Club.
6) There will be MPA State XC T-shirts on sale for $12.00, long sleeve for $15.00, hooded sweatshirts for
