The Cony Rams sprinters had a strong day as the 4x100 team raced to a new state leader 45.49 as did the 4x400 team 3:36.62 behind a monster carry from Rick Orio, 49.9. Lewiston's Fasial Abdillahi clocked the first sub 2 of the season and new state best 1:59.78 as he held off the challenege from Mt. Blue's Kelton Cullenberg who also dipped under 2, 1:59.91. In the racewalk Evan Vincent (Maranacook) lowered his state leader to 7:05.07. In the 300m hurdles, Taylor Watson (Maranacook) clocked the first sub 41 performance of the season 40.68 to hold off Rick Orio (Cony) 40.97, who clocked a new Class A leader. On the girls side standout hurdler Allison Fereshetian opted for the flat 400m, and didn't disappoint with a 60.42 clocking, the fasest turn of the oval this spring. She also ripped the 200m for another state best 26.52. Freshman vaulter Lindsey Folsom (Cony) equalled the best jump in the state with her 9-6 clearance. RESULTS | PHOTOS
