Terwilliger (16:19) & Durgin (18:10) run fast @ Gorham

A new course at Narragansett school in Gorham produced some very fast times in both the girls and boys races this afternoon. On the boys side Jack Terwilliger (Cheverus) returned from an IT band issue to win in 16:19. Terwilliger pulled away in the last 1/2 mile over runner-up Logan Marshall (Gorham) 16:29. #8 Gorham showed they will be a team to watch as they 5 guys under 17:34, defeating #7 Massabesic 30-38. On the girls side #1 Cheverus was impressive again with 3 girls under 20 minutes, the Stags were led by race winner Emily Durgin, who clocked 18:10, theyd efeated #5 Massabesic 28-39.
