Camden Hills freshman Brittany Bowman (pictured left-photo by flewphoto) and Erskine Academy junior Eben Hodgkins won races for the second Friday in a row, claiming the top positions at Lincoln Academy in Newcastle. After a day of showers, the normally tough course became muddy and slippery, as more than a few runners fell during the race. Bowman, leading a young but competitive Camden Hills girl's team, took an early lead and held it throughout the race, finishing in 20:59. Molly Schassberger, a sophomore at Winslow, placed second, leading her team to a narrow victory over Medomak Valley, 50-55. Freshman Abby Hersom of Rockland, sophomore Caroline Colan of Maranacook, and Nora Willaver of the Watershed School rounded out the top five.
