Ellsworth Boys & John Bapst Girls win Caribou Invitational Sep 11, 2010

The Ellsworth Eagles showed they will be a force to be reckon with once against in Class B, as they captured the boys Caribou Invitational title today. The Eagles were led by freshman Dan Curts who clocked the fastest time of the day over the 3 mile course, 16:19. Curts in his debut race as a freshman was 14 seconds better than Caribou senior Christian Sleeper. The Invitational features 7 individual races, Ellsworth won five of them and had 5 of the 8 fastest times on the day. On the girls side John Bapst edged out Caribou to take the top honors. Bapst won 3 individual races and were led by race 2 winner  sophomore Adrienne Carmack, who clocked the 3rd fastest time of the day 19:33. Old Town's Dacie Manion was dominate today, winning race 1 by 26 seconds, clocking the fastest time of the day 19:05. RESULTS
