XC Countdown 2023: Henri Rivard (Marshwood High School)

#9 Henri Rivard (Marshwood High School)

Class of 2026

2022 Results

  • Festival of Champions - 1st freshman race 17:10.55
  • Southern Maine Classic - 1st freshman/sophomore race 16:39.10

Rivard got off to a fast start as a freshman as he won at the Southern Maine Classic and then at the Festival of Champions. Unfortunately, Henri came down with an injury entering the post-season and wasn't able to toe the line at the Southern Regional. Rivard returned to form during the outdoor season where he clocked 9:52.61 for 3200m, and went on to place sixth in the Class A meet. A year of strength is only going to help Henri, he is a big talent and if he stays healthy he will be one of the top harriers in the state this fall.
