It's hard to believe that Ruth White is now a senior, and sad to think this is the final cross-country season in Maine we will get to watch her greatness. White has been phenomenal on the trails in high school, she has never lost a cross-country race contested in the state of Maine. Look for her to add her third straight Class C title, and with the New England Championship back at Belfast she will have a chance to win her third straight title. White will look to lead Orono to the team title again as she has done two years in a row. Last fall she qualified for the Champs XC Nationals with a fourth-place finish in the Northeast Regional before going on to place 17th in the country. A return trip to Nationals is certainly in the cards, and a top-ten finish in the National meet is a possibility.
