John Hassett (George Stevens) Hassett was the top freshman overall at the state meet. He placed 5th in the Class C state meet. Best time on year was 17:24.16, 5th best amongst his classmates.
Ben Breton (Windham) Helped the Eagles to one of their best season's in recent memory. Breton ran the fastest 5k for a freshman in 2013, 16:43. Finished 32nd Class A states, was #2 freshma overall.
Owen Concaugh (Messalonskee) Was the winner of the freshman race at FOC with a fine 17:08. Was the 3rd best overall freshman at state meet, finishing 38th overall in the Class A meet.
Joey Paolillo (Boothbay) 11th in the Class C meet helping team to title. Was 4th best freshman in state meet. Ran a best of 5k of 17:29.
Paul Casavant (Hampden Academy) 5th best freshman at states, Casavant finished 46th at Class A state meet, he had the 6th fastest 5k 17:24 this fall.

Anne Guadalupi (Cony) led the Class A state meet earlier on, she would finish 10th.
Anne Guadalupi (Cony) Was the top freshman this fall winning the FOC title. Won the EM Regional title. Placed 10th in the Class A state meet, was 13th fastest overall runner. Fastest 5k of 2013 was 19:05.
Lydia Dacortte (MDI) Was 6th in the Class B state meet, 3rd fastest freshman overall. Her 19:46 is the #2 freshman time for 5k. Lydia was also the top Maine freshman at NE's placing 94th
Tia Tardy (Mattanawcook) Placed 3rd in the Class C state meet. Was the EM Regional runner-up as well as FOC runner-up. She was the 2nd best freshman at the state meet, & placed 198th at NE's
Emma Trapani (Camden Hills) Got injured in late September and never returned. Bwefore the injury was one of the top freshman running a 5k best of 20:04. Look for her to return strong next fall.
Amanda Boyd (John Bapst) Placed 14th at Class B State meet. Was 5th fastest freshman, and 33rd overall in state meet. Had 5th fastest 5k 20:14.
Malia Cryan (York) 4th fastest freshman at state meet. Placed 12th overall in the Class B meet.
