Tell us how your summer training is going?
I've been working with a trainer this summer but unfortunately I injured my back and had to take few weeks off. I focused a lot on hills throughout my training.
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
Top 3 at states, break 19 mins.
How long have you been running and how did you get started?
I started competitively running in eighth grade in order to stay active during the fall season.
Will you be competing anywhere out of state this season?
Not sure yet.
What is your favorite course to run in Maine?
Belfast, easily.
What is the toughest course to run in Maine?
Twin Brook
What meet during the regular season do you put extra emphasize on to compete well at?
Festival of Champions because it's a chance to compete against runners who I don't normally run against.
What is your favorite cross country race so far in your high school career & favorite cross country memory?
Festival of Champions my sophomore year because it was the first race I'd felt content with. My favorite memory was regionals my sophomore year when my team qualified for states without Shannon who couldn't complete the race due to medical issues. This allowed her to go on to race at states placing second.
