Hi everyone!
This
Saturday marks the first meet of the season for many competitors around
the state. I'm Hoping that everyone competes to the highest of their
abilities and has a splendid time doing so.
Practice
has been going well for me within theses last couple of weeks. The
biggest challenge I'll be facing is staying in the diameter of the
circle and finishing my throws with full force. Unfortunately our school
doesn't have a ring to throw in, but I have gone after practice to
schools such as Colby College to receive some time actually practicing
in a ring, and the results were phenomenal.
This
week, my goal is to do the best I can do and get some descent numbers
out there for the season opener. This we be my first real meet throwing
with the rotation, but I feel as though I've tweaked some things out in
order for me to compete well.
Good luck to everyone this Saturday!
