Tell us how your summer training is going?

My summer training is going great. My watch has been broken and I've been feeling out my runs, which I've been really enjoying. Staying healthy and keeping a good base are what I've been focusing on.

What are your goals for the upcoming season?

My goals are LPR often and stay away from injuries. I hate injuries.

How long have you been running and how did you get started?

I've been running since 7th grade, and I started because I was pudgy in the stomach.

Will you be competing anywhere out of state this season?

As ambitious as it is to say, I'm planning on competing in New England's this year.
 
What is your favorite course to run in Maine?

My favorite course is the Mt Blue home course because it's such a true XC course. It's hilly, muddy, grassy. Paradise.

What is the toughest course to run in Maine?

I would say that the toughest course is either KVACS or the Mt Blue home course. I can't quite determine which one is harder.
 
What meet during the regular season do you put extra emphasize on to compete well at?

I guess the Festival of Champions race. That's a fun race because everyone from Maine is in it. I think.

What is your favorite cross country race so far in your high school career & favorite cross country memory?

My favorite race was last year at our home course. It was the first time I ever won a race, and I also broke the course record. Good times.

When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?

I love hanging out with friends. Especially playing some good ol' frisbee. That's the stuff

What shoes do you race in?

Kilkenneys! I'm pretty sure that's how you spell it.

What professional athlete would you most like to meet?

I'd love to meet Mary Cain. She's crazy good.

What is something that most people don't know about you?

Most people don't know that I've named my foam roller Gilbert. I take it everywhere I go, needless to say: I love that cylinder of joy.
