MaineTrackcXC Performance of the Week: Katherine Leggat-Barr & Andrew Levesque

Each week we will have our fans select the MaineTrackXC Perfrmance of the Week. Each Sunday we will post the poll and voting will commence, voting will end on Wednesday evenings at 8pm. Please note you must be a race winner to be eligible and you can't win two weeks in a row.

For the second time this season the fans have selected Greely sophomore Katherine Leggat-Barr, while on the boys side Cony's Andrew Levesque was the choice.

Leggat-Barr has stormed onto the xc scence this fall, and her impact has been immediate for the Greely Rangers. This past week she lowered her personal best at Twin Brook down to an impressive 19:28. To put that time in comparison only the Footlocker finalist Kirstin Sandreuter ran faster at the state meet last fall at Twin Brook. This week she'll get some top competition at the Manchester Invitational. Katherine received 46% of the votes this week.

On the boys side Cony junior Andrew Levesque continued breakout this fall as he ran to his first win of his career at Medomak Valley. Levesque covered the 5k course in 17:09.8, just off his best of 17:08.9 this fall. He was well supported in the poll as he received 111 votes from his supporters.

Congratulations to both Katherine & Andrew on being selected for the MaineTrackXC Performance of the Week
