Eleanor Lawler (South Kingstown, RI)
Lawler will be looking to continue her three year streak of All-NE honors on Saturday, the senior was tenth as a freshman, improved to second as a sophomore, and placed fourth a year ago. She is coming off a win at the Rhode Island State meet where she clocked 17:44.26 at Ponaganset course that was the site of the New England Championships a year ago. Her time was her second best on the course in her career (17:29 PR) from 2015. Lawler is peaking at the right time as she was nine seconds faster last week on the same course as she ran winning the Class B title a week earlier. A 2015 Footlocker finalist & All-American (14th) Ellie is no stranger to success in big meets so expect her to be in the mix.
