Lisandro Berry-Gaviria of Mt Ararat ran the fastest state meet time ever on the course at the Troy Howard Middle School with his 15:35.40 breaking Ayalew Taye's 12 year old record of 15:39.60. The time also moves Berry-Gaviria to sixth fastest all-time performer on the course.

Bangor's Gabe Coffey moved to 21st fastest in state meet history with his 16:02.25 effort. While John Auer of Falmouth moved to 24th (16:05.32) & Tristram Coffin of Scarborough comes in at 25th (16:06.22). Will Shaughnessy of Brunswick ranks 26th best (16:06.34) while senior Alec Troxell of Deering ran 16:08.8 good for 28th best.

Heading into the meet 17:51.40 was the cutoff for the top 500 times during a state meet, after this year's meet the mark is now 17:42.24. So far to date 16 harriers have been under 16 minutes while a total of 183 have broken 17 minutes.
